Ryan's Celtic Pride Yorkies

The first and most important thing I want you to know about

Ryan's Celtic Pride Yorkies is that we are NOT a KENNEL!

Our puppies are raised in our home and are a part of our family. They are not kept in crates except at night and even then one or two end up in one of our beds. Our mom's and puppies are not kept in crates but are instead in play pens for the first couple weeks then moved to a play yard in my kitchen. They are in the middle of everything, and have constant attention. They are loved and cared for by me, my husband Jim our kids, Michael and Kacie, our grown children Wendi, Amy and Cheri and our 7 grandchildren. They are very socialized.

I no longer dock the tails, after doing a lot of research I decided that it was best for the puppies to leave their tails intact. If you would like to hear more about what lead me to this decision, email me and I will be happy to explain it to you.

I strongly suggest that you have your  puppy micro-chipped so that should they ever be lost or stolen and show up in a shelter or vet's office they would be able to locate you.

Now I'm sure some of you are wondering where we got the name Celtic Pride, Like I said earlier I have had many Yorkies through the years and I have watched the breed slowly change, for the worse. There are a lot more health issues with Yorkies in recent years. After much research I found that standards in Ireland are much stricter than here in the USA, which in turn leads to healthier, happier Yorkies. I decided to start a line of Yorkies here in the USA with a female that was born in Ireland. By doing this I feel it will make the Celtic Pride line stronger and healthier. And that is my goal, to improve the breed.

All of my Yorkies with the exception of Maggie were A.K.C. registered . Maggie was born in Ireland and as such can not be registered with the American Kennel Club but is instead registered with the Universal Kennel Club International, which is the International equivalent of the A.K.C.  Seamus has dual registration with both the A.K.C. and the U.K.C.I., Teagan was also registered with the A.K.C and then with the U.K.C.I. as is Jack.

Jack and Teagan both come from A.K.C. Champion blood lines. Jack's dad was just under

2 lbs and his mother was just under 5 lbs.

Teagan's father was under 3 lbs and her mother was 4.8 lbs.

Seamus's father  was 2.6 and his mother was 4lbs.

Although the three of them had tiny parents and in turn will have tiny puppies I made sure that they came from a healthy blood line.

My priorities as a breeder are to have healthy, happy well socialized puppies. And I believe I have reached that goal.

UPDATE: We will no longer be shipping our puppies, there may an exception made in some case's but in general we will no longer be shipping.

After giving it a lot of thought I decided that I can't be the kind of breeder that I want to be if my puppies are too far away, you can read more about why I decided to stop shipping on the "Nursery" page.

If you are local we welcome you to stop by and visit with your puppy before you actually take them home.

We are located in Bensalem PA

Just as we don't enter our children in beauty contests we do not show our Yorkies.

They are members of our family and we don't need awards and ribbons to tell us they are special... we already know it!

We do require a deposit of at least $200 to hold  or reserve a puppy, if we are holding a deposit on a specific sex  and the litter does not produce that sex  your deposit will be refunded.

We do not refund deposits for any other reason ,so please give it a lot of thought BEFORE making a deposit, by making a deposit you are acknowledge that you have read and agree with this.

If money is an issue please don't let that deter you from getting one of my special babies, we are willing to work with you to insure you get the puppy you want. Please don't choose a puppy, mine or anyone else's based simply on the initial price. What may seem like a bargain may in reality end up costing you a lot more money in vet bill 's and even worse  an unhealthy puppy can cost a lot more in heartache than in the actual cost of vet bills.

If you have any questions PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT ME, it is not an imposition, I love talking about my babies!

Even if you didn't purchase them from me you are more than welcome in fact you are encouraged to contact me with any questions or comments you have.

Breeding Yorkies is not just a business to me, I love my dogs and if I can help someone else with their dog I am MORE than happy to do so.

you can email me at info@celticprideyorkies.com

Thanks,

Bonnie
